When I made my first 200g grinding dungeons, I flipped items for a few days until I had ~500g, then started buying the recipes I needed while still having money to spare.Īnyway, I guess it's your choice to give up. There's no reason to buy the core recipe right off the bat, when you have no idea how to make money yet.Īnd personally, I would have used that 120g to flip a few items on the AH before buying that recipe. My first couple crafted weapons and sets of armor were all made with 5-15g junk cores. 'junk cores', with less than ideal stats, can be as low as 5g. I hope you know that you can buy pre-made cores off the AH too. You do Skandia/Helonia more for yourself than anything(Eidolon spawns and SSs/fort scrolls to upgrade yourself) And doing it for only 5 days is nothing.ĭon't know about selling Luminous SSs, but if it takes you 45min to clear Skandia, you were wasting your time no matter what they sell for. You do it for the payoff when you get a 700g mount or 3000g armor to sell. Same with the rare gems that sell for 2-2.5g each.Ģ-3g for archeology isn't a 'lucky day'. Your ore didn't sell because people look for stacks of 100. (Normal, not carpet ones).Īnd im definitly going to check out archelogoy, what kept me away till now was the fact that the eq is so damn expensive, i only made 80 gold on my way to lvl 60. I died like 15 times until i reached the boss just to get killed by 2 hits from him. Ow Port Skandia i just got destroyed, those bunnies are insane. room then i had to give up because the enemies were to strong, i couldnt even finish 1 enemy before i went down over and over again. I tried the infernal one and got into the 2. Solo is too hard atm, most of the time i just get steamrolled by 2-3 enemies if im not very careful.ģ. Ive looked today just for ppl who were around my lvl to get some dungeons going, but only found 1. Guess im gonna keep trying to craft armor then.Ģ. You want those lvl 60 sets for the bonuses(-15% damage from bosses, +15% damage against bosses, etc.), and the extra stats you get from refining cores.ġ. And I regularly dig up stuff worth 5-50g that sell quick. I got the 90% speed mount from the treasure map within the first week of playing and recently dug up a 139% lvl 65 armor that sold for 3k. If you aren't already doing it, archeology can make good money or get you loot to use. Or if you're lucky you can get the Baneloth Scythe weapon costume. Can get the fragment/key of the bosses in there and farm shards to eventually make some weapons.ĭo the BB/VV world bosses and you can get tons of LP, which you can use to make bags to sell. You can also try Infernal Abyss and Whirlpool Abyss. If you can AoE well and have some lifesteal, this is pretty easy. ![]() There's also OW: Port Skandia, which drops tons lvl 1-9 fortification materials and has a chance of spawning eidolons after each mini-boss kill. Or try and get carried by 70s who steamroll through Party/Hell easily. The Solo Otherworld dungeons are doable at 60 as well, and they can drop the same stuff as the lvl 65 party/hell versions do, just at a much lower drop rate.
